Super Saturday Yum Yum Report

This is a TDB special yum yum culinary report. I'm your doggie commentator Chester L. W. Spaniel.

Yes, I know it's been a long time since I did a yum yum report. As you know, my humans all traveled to Florida for a wedding two weeks ago. While they were there (and I was stuck in the doggie hotel) they had some very nice meals.

Teriyaki salmon with salad, asparagus and okra, above, and sushi, below, all from a Japanese/Thai restaurant called Moon in Cutler Bay.

Hi Chester! Wish you were here!

They got tenderloin beef with shrimp and  mushrooms, salt potatoes, and sauteed onions and garlic at an Italian restaurant.

Cuban coffee and pastries.

After all the partying and fancy food in Florida, ghostwriter and Dad said they're going back to basic, simple, economical food now, and that it's time to think about losing weight.

Plain chicken, rice, and green beans.

Vegie fried rice for lunch the next day.

Steak, vegies, and wild rice.

I'm also pretty sure I heard them mention my name in their conversation on losing weight.

The Other Coast

Hey, I'm not fat! I'm packed with muscle! Anyway, the camera always adds ten pounds, don't you know?

  2. That food looks SO good. We understand about the partying and resetaurant food. Mom got together with a close group of friends she hasn't seen since Christmas due to everyone's work that had them traveling. She said they ate WAYYYY too much, but I got LOTS of love today.

  11. Ahhh, comfort foods!!
Losing baggage on the heinie and elsewhere is hard work! We...well the peeps...eat a modified paleo diet. We are not hungry and we maintain the weight loss from 2014.
Pawppy lost 16 inches off his waist!
Try going grainless, and no refined anything. Above all, no white sugar, flour...and avoid artificial additives, esp sweeteners. We use coconut sugar, maple syrup and raw honey, almond or coconut or banana flour, and plenty of organic fruit and veggies.
