Creepy Crawly Monday And A Few Flowers Too

This is The Daily Bone. Welcome one and all! I'm your doggie commentator Chester L. W. Spaniel along with my erudite associate Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

You may have noticed ghostwriter forgot to post photos of her flowers on Friday. So Joey and I are going to pick out some flower pictures to show you today. As you know, we also show some of the creepy crawlies that visit the flowers.

Here we have a nice yellow flower with  prickly leaves growing next to the corner of the house.
A couple days later, the yellow flower had changed into some white fuzzy stuff.

But ghostwriter said it was a weed. Well, we doggies don't know the difference between weeds and flowers! And besides, we're the ones picking out the photos today! We liked the next two pictures too.

Did you ever notice this time of year, these frenetic, little, white moths that flutter around like crazy, and then land on a blades of grass? I love chasing these guys! They're very hard to photograph because they hardly ever sit still for long. But here is one:

I love looking under rocks.

Look at this great big fabulous beetle I found!

Here's a  respectable millipede.

Don't forget the ants!

Oh oh oh! This is the toad we found a couple months ago. Today he was still under his same rock on the side of the house, but he's grown a lot bigger. He's probably been eating all of the above. Haha!

Check out this evil looking character that was sitting on the screen. Dad said it's a robber fly and that you really don't want one of these to bite you! This one was quite preoccupied with the fly it had caught and allowed us to take a few pictures.

It's very hard to photograph spider webs. You have to get the light at just the right angle.

Daddy long legs, we see you there!

Look look look! A giant dandelion is growing next to our fence!

NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH

This just in: a truck filled with cabbages turned over on a major Rochester NY highway today!

Wow! It's going to smell like some powerful sauerkraut there pretty soon!

Now for our final story, here is a thing we found a couple days ago:

We thought it was a ladybug, so we left it alone. But a few days later, it had't moved. So ghostwriter picked the leaf and brought it indoors to study it some more. Look what happened today!

We put the brand new ladybug outside on a rose leaf.

That's our news for today! Thanks for tuning into The Daily Bone!
