Winds of Change

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your cordial doggie host Chester L. W. Spaniel.

It is FINALLY a typical March day! By that I mean it's not indistinguishable from winter.

Our wonderful snow is almost gone.

The sky completely changed in less than a half hour!

There are processions of geese flying all the time now. Unlike the ditzy Autumn geese, who flew every which way, these flocks were all flying towards the northwest. Today we saw a flock of big white birds flying alongside the geese. They must have been swans. We couldn't get a picture of them, though.

This is Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel reporting now. The wind is very strong today!

My tail is a great weather vane!

Whoosh!

Wooohooo! That was a big gust!

There have been lots of helicopters flying around today too. Usually we only see them about once in a while. Now it seems like they fly right over us every day and night!

We wonder what they're carrying.

And we hope they didn't bump into the geese!

We have to go in now. It's starting to rain.

Look Mom, no mud!

Oh, I almost forgot. Look at who was on the front page of our Rochester newspaper:

It's Disco the parakeet! We've been following Disco's videos for a long time and knew he lived somewhere in our area. If you don't know who Disco is, here is a video.

We found a bit of information on the helicopters. Here's a link.
