Methodical Squirrel Surveillance by Angus

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I’m your humble doggie correspondent Chester L. W. Spaniel

Today we are happy to present our proficient doggie colleague Angus B. Terrier, who will show us how he carries out his daily squirrel surveillance.

Step 1. Focus on a tree. There’s sure to be a squirrel in it.

Step 2. Be sure to sniff the entire perimeter of the tree trunk. Remember, squirrels tend to scuttle to the opposite side of the tree of where you are.

Step 3. Glance across the street in case the squirrel has escaped in that direction.
They are sneaky like that.

Step 4. Carefully scan the entire tree. It helps that the leaves are down so you can see every possible hiding place. When you are completely sure there are no squirrels in that particular tree, move on to the next one.

Step 5. Repeat with next tree.

Almost forgot: here's a nice site for doggie and kitty cartoons:

    1. We'll be sure to let Angus know that you're looking for a Mr. Sid Squirrel. He'll definitely follow up on that lead.

    1. Angus is a very proper and and thorough investigator! I'm sure he's left some pee-mail as well as made a note of which other neighborhood doggies passed by the tree too. But we will be sure to remind him anyhow. Thanks!

  7. Crikey ..... if we had those squirrels here I'd sure be following that technique but I don't think it would work for rabbits, aye??

  8. Does this tec-nik work fur all species of tree rats? There is a bunch of those naughty red ones in my woodsy section of the yard. They even do their own patrol of the 'regular' tree rats...

  9. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! Squirrel surveillance is Very Important! I take my job very seriously. I think I must be good at it, because all the squirrels seem to be disappearing. Where do they go? Clearly it is my fierceness that has chased them off! Rarw!
