Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I’m your dismayed doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
After a few wonderful snow days, today the weather is NOT delightful. Did you ever notice that descriptions of bad weather usually start with the letter D? It is definitely dull, dreary, dismal, drizzly, dank, damp, dreadful, and depressing outside today! But such is D-cember weather here in Western NY!
My drowsy doggie colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel and I plan to sleep most of it away.
My ghostwriter tried to take some pictures of the delightful little chickadees who were flitting to and from the window bird feeder. They were too fast to photograph, but she did get a shot of that lonesome dove who has been hanging around, sleeping in our trees for the last couple days.
But wait a minute … What’s this?
Could it be …
It’s that despicable, diabolical, dastardly, deplorable squirrel, picking up seeds on the ground right under the feeder!
Get off your duff, Joey dog! Time to get our doggie feet dirty and dash after that demon!
OMD he is so fat......go get him. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
