Hey Chester and Joey ... I nominated you for 'a most influenshal blogger award'. You can collect it here: http://charliedownunderinoz.blogspot.com.au/2014/08/my-most-influenshal-blogger-award.html. Sorry but my Secretary is technically challenged so you will have to copy and paste it. She couldn't do the linky thing.
Thank you Charlie and Pipo and Minko for nominating us for this prestigious award. We are very honored! We will be sure to give it our full attention tomorrow when our ghostwriter has the day off. This work stuff always gets in the way of the more important stuff, like The Daily Bone! But I guess we can share Mom with the nice little old ladies and gentlemen at the nursing home who are some of our best fans. They look forward to getting the printed copy of TDB so they can read about our adventures. They also love hearing about all the great blog friends we have made. Thank you everybody!
Oh, MY! Our meowmy/growlmy works in a nursing home too! Yesterday they had a doggy parade there, but since it was a work day, dog-guy had to stay home, but we don't think he minded too much... She has to be there this weekend, too.
It's a small world, isn't it? The best times at the nursing home are when animals come to visit. One group brings a big white parrot, a gigantic snake (he's actually very polite and not scary at all!) and a bunny. Another group brings dogs and cats from the humane society. Animals bring out the best in everybody!
Sometimes the resident's furmilys bring their own pets, sometimes we have service pets come in. Once there was a lady whose kitty stayed in the room with her the whole time she was there! And once a big black kitty came in, and meowmy didn't know about it, and she went to search fur a missing pair of slippers and she saw these big glowing eyes peering at her from under the dresser, MOL! He was a huge black kitty!
Have a wonderful Wednesday and lucky you we'd so love a snoop or two round your yard.
