Hello. this is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie host Chester L. W. Spaniel along with my esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
Well, our ghostwriter isn't as tired as yesterday. (She must have been sick or something then.) But still, writing a detailed, in-depth treatise on an important issue is kind of tough when you've already worked hard all day at the nursing home. So we doggies are going to give her a break and just do a few short pieces today.
It finally stopped raining! However, Mom reports that driving into work at 6:30am there was lots of fog. She was sad she didn't have time to stop and take pictures. She also says the farmers are harvesting the big fields of soybeans, and has seen tractor trailer trucks heaped full of them.
As we said before, the squirrels have run out of stuff to eat in our yard. Today we found evidence that they are reduced to eating pine cones. Bwahahahaha!

Dinner is served! |
I've discovered that the thicket of coneflowers in our yard makes an excellent hiding place.
Can you see me? |
Speaking of hiding, these gigantic arbor vitae bushes a couple yards over are jam packed with an army of sparrows. You should hear all the noise they make!
Here are a couple spiffy characters we discovered crawling on the side of the house:
Cute stripes! |
Mr. Stink bug. |
Joey at his guard post. All is quiet here. |
The crows were strolling on the sidewalk. |
Someone is enjoying the roses a bit too much! |
In light of all the wars and conflict going on in the world right now, this guy (below) has the right idea!
Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible. |
Think about it. |
Yu have such a purdy yard! But with those buggie guys, let the spidie be, be careful rehomin the stinky bug an squash that durn bug on the rose.
