Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I’m your quiescent doggie commentator Chester L. W. Spaniel along with my somnolent associate Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
Last night our ghostwriter came home pretty late from work. It was after midnight. After quick greetings, we doggies went promptly went back to bed. She tried to get me to play to no effect.
|
Oh hi. I see you're finally home. |
|
Um yeah. It's a tennis ball. |
|
Thanks for giving me my toys. But it's after midnight. |
|
I shall now proceed to dream about them. Good night. |
This morning we were stunned to find out all that of our snow was completely gone!
We asked the neighbor, who was outside raking leaves, if he knew where the all our nice snow went. He just shrugged and continued raking.
We looked out the front door and there was no snow there either! We might as well go back to sleep!
We do have a report from Maddie cat today, though. It seems her human has been doing a lot of cooking for the upcoming food feast festival overindulgence yum yum holiday called Thanksgiving.
|
My human is baking something again. |
|
I can't look. |
|
Well, maybe just a little peek … |
|
Baby apple pies! |
Ohhhh those baby Apple pies look mightily delicious! Oh no the snow has gone, that is terrible, do you think that maybe the squirrels stole it during the night? Also how rude of your Human to wake you up from your sleep to ask you to play! I see that Joey stayed fast asleep, or maybe was pretending to still be asleep!? Love and licks from your furiend Frank XxxxxxxxX
ReplyDeleteThose apple pies do look very tasty!
ReplyDeleteI think you were being very kind to Mom, she needed her rest after a late shift so you resisted the urge to play, very good manners boys!
Loves and licky kisses

All our snow was washed away by lots and lots of rain...yuck, I had to go out in it to do...well, you know!
ReplyDeleteHope the pies get all eaten up.else the squirrels may get a feast too, perish the thought! BOL!
I hope your ghostwriter got today off so she could catch up on her rest...and the food feast preps!
Wait, I think she said she has to work like mine?
Most of our snow is gone too!
