This is a TDB news announcement. I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel. 


Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel, Doggie Chief Inspector, comestibles division, and founder of the Yum Yum Coalition, passed away peacefully at home at 6:30 this  morning with ghostwriter and Dad holding him.

  11. My heart goes out to you three in the loss of your dear Joey dog. He will long be remembered for his skilled squirrel chasing, bird watching, mailman barking, food prep supervision and superb snack snarfing. Joseph was a learned gourmet and distinguished food writer. His ear flapping skills were second to none and it is hoped that all future Blogville Pawlympics Ear Flapping events will be known as the Joseph Spaniel Ear Flapping Challenge.

  20. We didn't know Joey, but after seeing what happened on Marty The Manx, we stopped by to read a few posts. I'm so sorry for your family's sadness. Clearly, Joey loved well and was well-loved. He will be sorely missed. Mom and I will say prayers for your family to recover. xoxo
