Chester L. W. Spaniel.
While ghostwriter was in the hospital, my esteemed, and elderly colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel wasn't feeling very well.
Yes, I am feeling a bit elderly today. |
He had goopy eyes and was blinking a lot. Our Jason and Joanna and Dad tried to wash them and keep them clean, and fed him his special dinner with a spoon, and tried to make him comfortable. When ghostwriter finally got home on Saturday, she gave him an antibiotic.
He felt a little better by the evening and went out to supervise Dad cooking on the grill.
He felt a lot better Sunday morning too.
But today he went to the vet and found out he has glaucoma in his left eye. Now he has eye drops and pills to take, and has to go to the eye specialist vet.
Doesn't it seem like trouble always comes in bunches?

It actually rained today! There was a thunder storm this morning, and then it rained until this afternoon!
Wow! Did we ever need that!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go and bark at the mail truck!

We are hoping Joey feels better soon! Bilbo has to take eye drops and cream every day for his eyes too.

Crikey ...... NOOOOOOOOOOOO! What's going on at your house?? Joey, mate, please feel better real soon. You really did miss the Ghostwriter heaps, aye?? AND your poor eyes .... oh my ..... that's no good at all. I hope the eye Doc can help you. If not you and my Mum can sympathise with one another, aye?? She has lots of eye drops and pills too.

ReplyDeleteWe will keep our paws crossed for Joey that he feels better soon. Wasn't that rain yesterday great? Even if it did keep us in the house our pawrents were happy to not have to move the sprinkler around all day.

Oh gosh we are so sorry to hear that, I was tested last year for that but it came back negative, but I still take lots of eye drops etc. for my eyes also. Hugs. stella rose
