Saturday With Joey Dog

Hello foodies! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your culinary expert  doggie reporter
Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

I only have a short report today, so we'll get right down to business. Since ghostwriter has to go to work on evening shift, she and Dad had their dinner early. Here we have some grilled chicken, basmati rice, and steamed vegetables. Yummy!

Now check out this gigantic ten-pound pork loin roast—that's a boneless solid piece of meat!— Dad bought and stuck in the freezer!

Ghostwriter has been rolling her eyes at this, and grumbling something about Fred Flintstone. But I think I'm going to score a lot of that delicious meat.

As you might know ghostwriter's been cooking some special dinners for me, and me only. I would show you a picture of the last one which was boiled ground beef, with potatoes, green beans, and a little rice to thicken it up, but I ate it all already! So now, about that gigantic pork roast: grind it up and substitute it for the beef. That should make enough doggie food for me to last a year!

Yum yum yum!

In other news, it's been very windy around here. My supercilious associate Chester L. W. Spaniel has been barking at this UFO that crashed into the fence around our yard.

Later, there was an alien doggie camped out in the yard next door. We did not get to meet this doggie because Dad was mowing the lawn. When he got done and let us outside, the doggie had left. We'll be sure to keep you posted on this subject.

That's all for today. I hope you have a great weekend and aren't working, like ghostwriter!

Oh, I almost forgot! Here's our funny for the week:
