Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your yum yum connoisseur doggie commentator
Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
I know it's a little early for my food report this week. But there's been a lot of yummyness going on today. As you know ghostwriter has been cooking some extra delicious dinners just for me! Now take a look at this:
Not to be outdone by that gigantic pork loin Dad bought this week, ghostwriter purchased this big pack of tilapia fish. (Dad hates fish! haha!) She marinated a couple pieces for herself, and cooked the rest without seasoning. Then she made a big pot of mashed potatoes, and steamed some vegetables too! Yum! (Don't worry. Ghostwriter made an omelet for Dad.)

Then she gave me, and my portly associate Chester L. W. Spaniel a big helping of this wonderful fish and potatoes and vegies too. The rest was packed into these containers for future doggie meals. The fish is on the bottom.
Wow! I'm going to be eating good for the rest of the week!
(Rachael Ray, eat your heart out!)
OMD...that looks totally delish, Joey!!

yummmmmm! You are one lucky boy, Joey!
ReplyDeleteOh that all looked so good. You asked about our chicken and livers....well mom buys us packages found in the chicken department of most big stores, of livers and gizzards. They run around $2 or less.....then she boils them (water covering them) for an hour or so that will make them extra tender, she puts them in a Tupperware container with enough fluid (that they cooked in)covering them, and then when it is time to eat she adds some of the liquid to our dry food, and cuts up a few pieces of the meat for us also...that is the only way we will eat our food. stella rose
ReplyDeleteOur Dad is very picky about his fish too and only likes scallops, swordfish, and tuna in a can. Mom loves most any kind of fish, and tilapia is a favorite. The only problem is it is so hard to get really good fresh fish here.
