Harvest Time

Good evening. This is The Daily Bone and we're your exhausted doggie reporters Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

We've had a busy day! Our favorite miniature human, Ryan came over to help us with an important job: picking pears.

First, he drove his dump truck under the tree. Then he proceeded to pick all the pears he could reach.

He loaded them into the truck, along with a few pine cones. Some of the pears were very lumpy and funny looking.

Joey and I each stole a pear to eat right away. Ryan wasn't very happy about that, but then he got to eat some pieces of the delicious pears too. They are very yummy!

Pear picking is serious business.

Won't the Evil Squirrel Cartel be surprised when they find out the pears are all gone? Bwahahahaha! The Double Doggie Homeland Security System can finally say, "mission accomplished!" No more pear tree guard duty until next year.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

  4. Woo Hoo - those squirrels are going to be so upset - congrats to little Ryan for all his hard work. It is fun to watch your little human growing up - he has changed a lot over the summer becoming quite the big boy:)
