Hello. This is The Daily Bone and we're your earnest doggie reporters Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
It's been an extremely busy day for the Double Doggie Homeland Security System, and it's still early! First came an alien invader stomping around our yard putting some smelly granules on the grass. Ghostwriter says it's just lawn fertilizer. She does not allow pesticides in her yard, because, as loyal readers will know, we love bugs and spiders and other creepy crawlies.
After he left, ghostwriter went out to take pictures of the amazing clouds in the sunny sky.
She heard a strange buzzing sound that she thought was a neighbor with a weed-whipper. She was surprised to see a drone flying around! We apologize for the poor quality of this photo. The drone was light in color against the white clouds, and it moved pretty fast. Upon walking down the driveway, she saw one of the neighbors with a control panel. We doggies think he saw ghostwriter taking pictures of the drone because he soon put it away.
You can be sure I was keeping a keen nose under the door the whole time ghostwriter was outside photographing that!
Next came the Schwann truck, bringing all kinds of good yum yums!
For our final story, we have some sad news from our friend Carol. She and her husband go to Chincoteague a few times a year to help with the famous herd of free ranging ponies. She just reported to us that a little foal named Dreamers Faith has been stolen! Can you believe it?
Here's the information. If you see or hear anything about this poor little stolen pony, please contact the Chincoteague Police.
It's going to be a busy day!
