This is a TDB fast breaking news flash. I'm your brave doggie correspondent, reporting live and on location in the garage by the back door. After weeks of hot, dry weather, we finally have rain!
It's thundering a bit too.
Oh, by the way, ghostwriter has the requisite four doggie yum yum treats as pay for doggie reporting duties: two for me and two for my timorous colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel. As you can see, Joey dog is absent. He's hiding in the house because he's afraid of thunder.
And you know the rules: if you miss your scheduled appearance, your stand-in may receive your pay.

So here I go, out into the rain …
It's not so bad. Just water!
In fact, it's quite delightful.
Rumble rumble …
Yipes! |
That was a loud thunder clap!
I'm pretty sure I should get one more doggie treat for hazard pay!
You were one brave doggie.
