Greetings fellow foodies! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.
My humans continue to cook the same old stuff. But that isn't going to stop me from carrying on the food watching tradition of my predecessor Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel and his Saturday food posts. As loyal readers know, Joey dog was the utmost professional when it came to food watching.
I'm usually pretty good at emulating his politeness. But not always!

Wow! Baked potato, chicken with barbecue sauce, and roasted root vegetables.
I'll just help myself if you don't mind.

This is an old repeat: chicken tender, mac and cheese, sliced tomatoes. Did you drop something?
Stir fry chicken with baby bok choy, udon noodles, and oyster sauce. Hey, you caught me blinking!

Now that's more like it! Steak with mushrooms, wild rice, and steamed vegies. Yum yum!
And now for the required food and doggie comics.

Bone appetite!
1 bag baby bok choy
1 boneless chicken breast
1 pack sliced mushrooms
1/2 an onion, sliced
1 green or red pepper, sliced
2 packs udon noodles
1/3 jar oyster sauce
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp soy sauce
oil (we use olive oil)
Slice chicken very thin and mix with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Let marinate in fridge for up to a day.
Pour enough oil in a big pot or wok to cover bottom. Heat oil. Add chicken and stir fry until cooked through. Add onions and stir for a few minutes. Add mushrooms and peppers and stir for a few minutes. Add bok choy and stir until it starts to wilt. Remove from heat and add noodles. Mix well and add oyster sauce.
Yummy! Chicken tenders and mac and cheese is one of Mom's favorite meals.
