Greetings fellow fans of good muddy fun. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
It's been raining and warm for a week now, and my back yard is full of mud!
I went for a good fast run through it all!
Look at my muddy feet!
The bath tub's this way!
Earlier, a big street cleaner truck came roaring around the streets of our neighborhood.
I guess the snow plow drivers needed something to do.
Usually, this time of year is supposed to look like this:
Well, I can only keep dreaming.
Oh Chester it is raining here too and will be doing it off and on through Monday. They say we might have over 2". At least my facilities are inside. Poor baby your feets must be caked with the mud. Better wash them so they are light and airy for the dance lessons
ReplyDeletehugs madi your bffff

We are dreaming of that snow too. Our pawrents won't let us play outside in our yard when it's so yucky like this. We have our paws crossed that we get some snow soon.
ReplyDeleteRain Rain..GO AWAY!!
ReplyDeleteWe keep singing the song...then the sun comes out for two minutes before it starts raining again!! What a crazy winter this has been!!

It's been rainy here too!
ReplyDeleteIt has been a rainy week but today was beautiful so Pierre went outside and rolled in the mulched leaves. I was not amused. Haha!
ReplyDeleteWe must be in the same weather zone as we have had warmer temps, dreary days, drizzle, and lots of mud. Not good timing with Misty with her belly in stitches and no running allowed. We would love to get some snow but at this point, even some sun would be most welcome.
ReplyDeleteHappy dry weekend.
Woos - Lightning and Misty
You know when one person washes another soul's feet it means that they are honoring them. You have been very honored today
ReplyDeleteChester - we feel your pain, Mom and I both love the snow (Dad not so much as we have a REALLY long driveway and he does ours and the neighbor's a disabled Veteran). It's supposed to be 58 degrees in Chicagoland tomorrow. I think Mother Nature is drunk.
ReplyDeleteAbby Lab
Be careful what you ask for Chester...just keep it in your dreams, please!!
ReplyDeleteCrikey Chester ..... we need it so badly ...... send it our way, aye?? I wish you would get some snow too. I've really missed your snow pics this year.
ReplyDeleteOMD, your mommy lets you walk on the floor in those muddy feets! My mommy would hose me off outside! BOL!! We have lots of rain here, but not much mud. We have grass evfurrywhere. Even so, we get our feets wiped off befure we can step on a floor!
ReplyDeleteRain is in our forecast too, Chester. Where oh where is the snow? It's winter! It's supposed to snow!
ReplyDeleteMom uses the Dura Chew Nylabones and she plugs one of the ends with a banana or carrot or something that will stop other stuffs from falling out. Then you fill your bone with your favorite foodables and then plug up the top and toss the bone into the freezer. We let it sit in there overnight. It keeps us busy for awhile, Chester☺ You will love it!
ReplyDeleteMud is the best! BUTT we have a lot more snow now!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
