Greetings friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your well insulated doggie commentator Chester L. W. Spaniel reporting live, from my back yard.
After two months of unseasonably warm temperatures, some wintry weather has just blasted into our area. Around 1:30pm our ghostwriter reported white-out conditions. Although we've only had a few inches of snow so far, more is predicted. In fact it's supposed to snow for the next four days.
My chilly colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel did a careful sniff and taste test of this snow but could not determine whether this was lake effect snow from Lake Erie or Lake Ontario.
No matter! We'll take snow from anywhere!
To celebrate the arrival of this snow, I've collected several snowman-related comics.
Red and Rover
Little Dog Lost
Mutts
Dogs of C-Kennel
Fowl Language
Well, that last one is more ghostwriter's opinion of winter in general, to which we'll add this disclaimer: The Daily Bone does not necessarily agree with the opinions presented by our ghostwriter.
I love snow! |
I'll act enthusiastic if it involves a yum yum doggie treat as compensation for my cold feet! |
On a Claire Day
Have fun in your snows!
ReplyDeletesnow is nice when it first falls - but once it turns brown and slushy - not so much :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE rolling in the snow. Mom likes looking at it, but not shoveling it. Dad's on the road so she had to shovel out this morning and has now retreated to the bath with some Epsom salts for her sore back and a glass of Peanut Gringo wine.
