Random Patterns

Hello there friends and fans. This is The daily Bone and I'm your astute doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.

As you can see, we finally got a bit of snow. It wasn't much, but it made interesting random patterns on the grass. My erudite colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel is demonstrating another section of the yard.

It's melting fast, though. Look at the swamp we have by the compost pile!

Here's a closer look at this half melted snow:

We had a spectacular golden sunset this evening.

Garden Buddha enjoyed catching a few rays from it!

Other than that. it's been kind of boring around here with ghostwriter working day shift this week.

So we went over to join tonight's Howl-i-daze Hijinks. Go and see the trouble we got into there!

Oh, and we found some snowman related comics.
We're sure our friends Frankie and Ernie will enjoy them.

  2. Thanks fur those snowy giggles!

Our yard looks about the same, only there was more to start with...but the grass tips did show though...so we didn't have a whole lot. We had a lot of ice to try and get off our walks and driveway. Growlmy and pawppy had to break off pieces and then they threw them ovfur the fence...they could have built a fort with those ice bricks! What they didn't get finished today will be a solid block tomorrow, ugh!

  5. Hey Chester!
Wow, your yard is really unusual with those snowy patterns! I still don't have any snow which is very weird for my territory. OMD those snow freak cartoons are BOL funny! Selling his body for snowcones...hysterical!

  6. Dear Chester and Joey,

Wow, your snow is doing weird stuff! No lunch photos today?

We are sorry that we haven't been writing more. We are in a little cabin in the snow and there is a lack of something called "wifi" here. We have "not much bandwidth", and I blame this on our person. But thank you for visiting us, and we enjoyed catching up on your blog today when our person did the thing called "getting online"!

  7. Love the last picture of you and Joey dog, you both look so noble and cute!:).
Hope our yard melts as fast as yours! It's a big skating rink right now.
Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
