Hello friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
My esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel and I had a great time at the Sadie Hawkins Dance in Blogville yesterday. I danced all night with my beautiful Princess Leah, had margaritas with our good friend Ruby, saw all our very good Blogville friends, and made a lot of new friends too. It was a great time, and we thank Dory and her brothers for hosting the wonderful event. Here are just a few links to see the fun:

We were all tired out when we got home, as you can see in this photo taken at 1AM!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz |
Ghostwriter was sure to catch a picture of the moon peeking our from behind the trees and clouds last night. I hope Princess Leah saw it too!
This morning, we're ready to go! It's cold and windy out. But that didn't stop us doggies from making our security rounds.
The sky was a uniform pale gray. However, we were surprised to see a halo around the sun!
A flock of geese flew over, headed south west.
Oh, and it's Flower Friday today too!
We're sorry to say we were unable to find any creepy crawlies today, except for this moth who was hiding in a window sill. It looks just like a dried leaf!
Ghostwriter wanted to announce that she's in her annual winter-denial mode right now. She will refuse to admit it's winter until the first big snow storm, or Christmas, which ever comes first. She is sure today's weather is just a cold front and that tomorrow will be 80 degrees! Oh, and there's still Indian Summer coming soon too!
We doggies have no problem with winter. Bring it on!
It is chilly now at our house also, mom refuses to believe Christmas is so close. We had a great time meeting you guys also.

ReplyDeleteWe have a spider that has built a web on the framework of our porch swing - mom thinks of you guys when she sees him in the middle of the web. it is pretty strong to survive the strong wind we had last night
