Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your observant doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
The sky has been gray all day! No rain. No wind. But no sun either. We in Western New York are used to this kind of day.
Ghostwriter managed to find some colorful things to photograph, though.
The maple trees are not quite at their peak of color yet.
The hydrangeas are fading to mauve.
But what's this?
Ghostwriter thought it was dead. It was all rolled up, and not moving. So she picked it up and put it on the railing by the front step to get a better picture.
Surprise!
See you later woolly bear!
She also found a little black beetle.
An orange centipede.
A yellow leaf.
A red spider that was hiding under a rock.
Pink and white four o'clock flowers.
My pensive associate Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel said, "at least it didn't rain!"
We decided it was a good day for sleeping.
Good night cricket on the door bell!
Oh, and here is a little cartoon for our friend Abby Lab at thebookofbarkley
