Hello everybody. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your calm and unflappable doggie host Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
We had a beautiful day today. The sun was shining, and the air was fresh and cool. The sky was filled with jets and the lines they make.
Dad had a big project to do. He picked up the big concrete slab by the back door, along with all the other paving stones.
Then he took a shovel, and smoothed out the dirt. Can you see me just inside the garage door? I waited patiently there while Dad was working. My investigative colleague Chester L. W. Spaniel, however, was underfoot the entire time.
Um, Chester. Dad's throwing the dirt there. Get out of the way!
Well, you can guess what happened next.
|All right, all right! I can take a hint!|
He finally decided to start his own dig.
Go on Chester! Be a good boy and wait in the garage like me!
Dad put down some paving sand and reset the slab.
Time for a break now. Come in for dinner!
Chicken stir fry with vegies, udon noodles, and oyster sauce, and Nishiki rice on the side. Yum!
The days are getting shorter. It was sunset before we knew it!
Oh, and happy birthday to our Jason human!
Oh, one more thing. Ghostwriter has to get up early tomorrow morning to work day shift. Let us hope this doesn't happen:
