Thank You Everyone!

Good evening. this is the Daily Bone and I'm your earnest doggie commentator Chester L. W. Stephens.

My ghostwriter got stuck working pretty much the entire weekend, plus got called in today, and didn't have time to keep up with all the wonderful doggie blogs about the Heart-2-Heart dance. She still has to work tomorrow too, but hopes to catch up at least by Wednesday.

In the meantime, we'd like to say a big thank you to Stanley and Murphy's Mom for all the hard work she did to make the dance such a stunning success! Please visit them at: murphyandstanley

Thank you Princess Leah, darling, for the pleasure of your company at the Heart-2-Heart dance. It was absolutely wonderful! The surprise romantic dinner was such a surprise! You looked so ravishing in your dress! And thank you so much for remembering my esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Stephens' thirteenth birthday on Sunday. Please check out her blog at: princessleahthecav and be enchanted by her loveliness!

Joey wants to give Abby Lab a big smooch for coming to the Heart-2-Heart dance with him, even though he is an elderly gentledoggie who turned 13 yesterday. He was honored and had a great time! The savvy Miss Abby can be seen at: thebookofbarkley

How many times do I have to tell you, Chester, I am NOT elderly! In dog years I am 65, not 91!

Kindly refer to the following website for a nifty dog year calculator:

Thank you so much to Ruby for introducing us to Abby and her excellent doggie blog. Visit Ruby at: rubytheairedalepup

These are our amazing official photos of Joey dog and me along with our lovely ladies on Valentine's day. Please note, the Evil Squirrel Cartel hacked into Stanley and Murphy's Mom's computer and tried to scramble up her data. However, due to her vigilance and expertise, only a couple minor mix-ups got through. (As the Double Doggie Homeland Security System, we'll do our best to get back at those craven squirrels!) Again we would like to give her our deepest thanks for all her hard work. Keeping track of 97 doggies, kitties, bunnies, and humans was a monumental task that our ghostwriter wouldn't have the faintest idea how to do!

Oops.

Ghostwriter was so busy with working, and exhausted from driving to work and back through the most horrendous winter weather at all kinds of hours, she didn't even think about Valentine's day!

Now, imagine this … at night …

However, Dad remembered to get her some chocolates from Stever's. She didn't even get to eat one piece yet, but did make sure to lock the chocolates away in the top shelf of her cabinet.

Wow, this smells good. Can I have some?

Absolutely NOT Chester! Please remember, chocolate is poisonous to doggies.

Our last item tonight is the good dinner Dad cooked for Joey dog on his birthday Sunday. Thank you very much Dad! It was delicious!

Korean style chicken, with rice, and asparagus. Yum!

Thank you, thank you everyone!

  8. Happy birthday Joey Dog! That was a pawsome looking meal and you look wonderful.

Awesome you two had such a great time at the dance.

Oh, that weather! Sigh! My peeps know all about that. We were having a blizzard here on Valentine's Day and they needed to take me to the ER. They got stuck in the driveway both trying to leave and on returning home.

Tell your ghostwriter to stay safe in weather like that. Hugs!
