G'day blokes and sheilas! This is The Daily Bone and we're your snowbound doggie reporters
Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
Crikey … Our good friend Charlie from Australia
charliedownunderinoz wanted to see more pictures of our wonderful snow.
So here we go!
|
Here's our house. |
|
This is our front yard. |
|
This is what the main roads looked like yesterday afternoon. |
|
The snow plow didn't get to our street until after dark! (It looks like a scary monster, doesn't it?) |
|
This is the stuff that accumulates in the wheel wells after driving around on sloppy, slushy roads!
They're affectionately known as "car boogers" and they litter every street, parking lot,
and driveway this time of year. |
|
This giant snow drift forms on the roof every winter. |
|
This year it looks like a space alien with icicles hanging off it! |
|
Birdie! |
That's all for now. (Ghostwriter has been up since 5am.) Please tune in to The Daily Bone tomorrow for snow updates, and snow pictures, and us doggies romping in the snow, and the snow mountains, and icicles, and maybe even squirrels in the snow, and snow birdies, and snow storms. Good night!
We too love seeing all your snow. Wish we had some too - the rain stole the little that we had:(
ReplyDeleteStay warm but enjoy that snow while you can.

ReplyDeleteCrikey Chester and Joey. You showed all those pictures for ME!!!!!!! That was real nice of you. Thankyou!! I LOVED seeing them. Car boogers???? I would never have known there was such a thing if you didn't show me. You blokes teach me heaps, aye?? Big words too!! I LOVE your big words!! Hey!! It snowed at my beach today. Don't believe me?? Mum will do a post about it soon ..... won'tcha Mum??? She's a bit slow my Mum. I've gotta keep reminding her.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pictures ....... I REALLY love seeing them. Take care on those roads, aye?? Mum can't believe you drive on those. Are there LOTS more accidents in winter as compared to summer?
That brown stuff in the wheel wells...if we have those and the temp is cold enough, they will make the steering /turning the wheels a tad noisy...BOL!
ReplyDeleteWhen growlmy was a wee gal, her and her brother would go to the street and pick up some of those, bring them into the snow forts they would build...and then pretend they were meat...OMD! She still thinks of that each time she sees them, BOL!
But 'car boogers' OMD, that is too clever!
You sure do have a lot of snow...we got the deep freezer again, its -6F right now...we had a bit of a reprieve yesterday it was about 35F...tropical, BOL!!
Crikey ..... Growlmy used those car boogers as meat. A case of horses for courses, aye?? Mum used to play shops in the rock pools at the beach and the seaweed was all sorts of things from sausages to lettuce depending on the kind of seaweed about at the time. Keep warm, aye??
DeleteWow we are impressed with all your snow. Here it is lovely and sunny and mild. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly

ReplyDeleteCar boogers??? Gosh, I learned something new today! That is so much snow - I can't even imagine it. Spring must seem so very far away when you are buried like that.
