Greetings fellow doggies. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your faithful doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.
I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted a report. But you see, I had to spend some hard time in a doggie spa jail.
Can you believe it?!!! |
This is the second time I've been left there, and I have no idea what I did to deserve it!
But I had my big comfy doggie bed, my spaniel water bowl, my favorite yum yum doggie food …
… and most importantly, my tennis ball that I got from my dearest Princess Leah. (I hope she doesn't think I'm a criminal now.) There were lots of other doggies there who were equally puzzled, and had no idea why their humans decided to put them there, and how long they'd have to wait to go home. The whole place was full of interesting scents from all the other doggies who had been there before. I vaguely remember that my esteemed, late colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel said he had been there once or twice, along with my highly respected senior associate Miss Ginger angel, and our Patron Saint Old Charisma too.
Fortunately, my humans picked me up after about a year a few days. I guess they thought I'd paid my debt to society by then. (Personally, I think they missed me too much.)
Happy to be home! |
Later, my humans told me they had gone to Florida for a wedding.
Dan and Jessy |
Ryan was the ring bearer. |
The beautiful venue, Old Grove in Redland, Florida. |

We're glad to hear you are out of jail. It looks like a great place to visit for a wedding but we don't understand why you weren't the ring bearer.
ReplyDeleteYour peeps went to a wedding and didn't take you? Well, you could have been the ring bearer! So glad you survived your incarceration.
ReplyDeleteOh Chester thank goodness we were worried your mom was having to work all this time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place for a wedding and I know the peeps enjoyed NO SNOW. Frankly, it sounds like you did okey dokey fine at the kennel and it looks like a very nice place too....BUT there is no place like home and being with your peeps.
Hugs madi your bfff
PS Ryan looks adorable and the Bride and Groom make a beautiful couple
ReplyDeleteWELL we are just STUNNED that the peeps would put such an INNOCENT Dog such as yourself... in JAIL... even so that they could attend that Gorgeous Wedding thingy. STUNNED we say.
ReplyDeleteNot even a trial.
You should consider hiring a good lawyer for pain and suffering! Our peeps have left us in a pet resort jail too. I'm thinking we must have done a white collar crime. The ring bearer is too cute and the venue was gorgeous. Congratulations to the bride & groom ♥
ReplyDeleteWe are going to send you a file in order to escape

Congratulations to Dan and Jessy! Ryan looks so handsome and so grown up!
ReplyDeleteWe're so happy to hear that you're home, Chester!
Well, at least your jail looks like it might be a very nice prison:) Congrats to the newlyweds, what a beautiful location!

OMD! You were jailed without a trial? Better call Ernie the Attorney!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
We are so glad you were set free from jail!! Sounds like it must have been one of those white collar jails and you were treated pretty well!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
