Hello everyone! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your humble doggie reporter
Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
I must say that I'm feeling a lot better today after all your well wishes, POTP, prayers, Airezen, and good vibes. Thank you so much! My stuffy nose is all better, and I get a big lump of yummy peanut butter with my antibiotic pill every day. I still have to visit the vet next week to find out if my lymph nodes are better. I'll be sure to let everyone know.
And now for the news. As you can see, the petals have almost all fallen off the pear blossoms. Hopefully they all got pollinated so we'll have lots of delicious pears to eat in August.
Pears … yum … |
My supercilious associate Chester L. W. Spaniel says we should be featuring some of the what the humans call "trending." So we checked out the internet and found out what's trending. Apparently there's a new hairdo everyone's crazy about. So here we are! Chester and me rocking our man buns!
We'd better get paid extra for this foolishness!
Harumph! |
For our weather report, here in Western NY today we featured something for just about everyone! If you don't like it, just wait a bit.
The only thing about the weather that didn't change was the fact that is was cold and windy. So our humans decided to stay home and watch a movie on TV called the "Minions." We doggies didn't quite understand what it was all about.
Chester laughed at me for falling asleep in the middle of it. But then, so did he!
Snoorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk! |
And now it's time for my Yum Yum Report. The humans didn't cook anything fancy this week. Ghostwriter worked a lot, where she usually dines on peanut butter sandwiches. We do have a few goodies to show you, though. First, here's a real Man bun. Dad sauteed some chopped up cube steak with onions and peppers, and piled it on a bun with cheese. It wasn't pretty, but it tasted good!
He also made some plain and simple tuna fish sandwiches. No frills or fancy garnishes.
And finally, today's supper featured roasted potatoes and vegetables, and barbecued chicken. Chester decided to photobomb my gig. Maybe there's hope for him yet.
Later there was popcorn for a snack. Yum!
Next we have a few funnies for you!

For my last story, we found an old photo of me, Chester, and our angel Miss Ginger. We're all food watching, even Ginger who was completely blind! Ginger was not only an excellent food watcher, she provided dinner music. Every time the family sat down for a meal, Ginger sang a beautiful doggie song for about five minutes. She could say "yum yum" too! We all miss her very much!
That's it for today. I hope to see you again soon! Good night!
We are loving your man-dos! You boys are stylin'! Miss Ginger was sure a cutie.
ReplyDeleteLove the Man buns!
ReplyDeleteYou two rock those manbuns! We don't think Mom could get our ears close enough together to do that - Hope she doesn't get any ideas about doing a double manbun look:)
ReplyDeleteMiss Ginger was so sweet - makes Mom think of our Lucky who had both eye removed due to cataracts. Glad you were able to find that photo.
Have a great Sunday.
Woos - Ciara and Lightning

ReplyDeleteI don't think my ears are long enough for a man bun but I hope my mom doesn't get any ideas and try it on me.
