This is an emergency TDB broadcast. I'm your worried doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
Yesterday my esteemed and elderly colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel woke up with a very stuffy nose. So ghostwriter took him to the vet. She had to pick him up to get him into the car.

Joey is no fan of visiting the vet, and hid behind ghostwriter's legs.
He got checked all over and they took some of his blood for testing. The vet says he has lots of swollen lymph nodes, and that can mean one of two things: 1. they're swollen because he's sick, or 2. he's sick because they're swollen (from something like lymphoma.) We'll know today when the blood work results are in. He's also down two pounds! The vet gave him some antibiotic pills to take.

He's doing lots of sleeping, and drinking lots of water. Ghostwriter gave him some canned doggie food to eat, plus some chicken soup. He wasn't interested in our regular dry kibble.
Today he's not sniffling as much. Please stay tuned for further news on his condition.

Oh we hope he will be feeling well in no time and that all reports are good. His nose reminded our mom of the cocker angel brother we have but never met called Reggie. His poor nose ran from allergies so much it got all crusted up and the vet would have to "pick his nose out".
