This is a TDB news flash. I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
We got the lab results for my esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel. The only abnormal thing was that he's a bit anemic.
After three days of antibiotics, he's looking and feeling much better. His stuffy nose has mostly cleared up, and he's able to jump up onto the ottoman without help. Thank you for all your POTP, AireZen, good vibes, thoughts and prayers! It was amazing! Joey still has to go back to the vet next week. Hopefully his lymph nodes won't be swollen any more.
In other news, it's June bug time! Ghostwriter found three of them last night when she came home from work. They were just hanging onto the screen door. She caught them and brought them in for me to chase. I love June bugs!
I haven't found any more bunnies in my yard, but there was a mousie in the trap in the garage. I thought we should show you the mousie, but ghostwriter didn't think anyone wanted to see a mousie with a smushed head. So we'll move onto the next story. The Evil Squirrel Cartel has sent the Three Stooges to our yard. Yes indeed, Curly, Larry, and Moe were spotted traipsing across the road a couple days ago, and are now showing up everywhere!

See the one hanging on the trunk of the pear tree? |
We are NOT amused!
While Chester is chasing those squirrels, I'd like to say thank you again for all your well wishes and POTP. I hope my vet visit next week will bring more good news.
Thank you for sharing Joey's great news! We will keep our paws crossed that the lymph nodes will be back to normal.
ReplyDeleteI and my kitty brofurs are so happy you are feeling better, Joey!
ReplyDeleteWhat naughty squirrels...go get em, Chester!
Thanks guys. We did ask the vet if Joey might have picked something up from those bunnies Chester caught the other day. Even though Joey didn't get involved with them, he did sniff around where they were hiding. The vet said probably not.
