Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone Saturday edition and I'm your doggie host and epicurean specialist Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
We're going to get right into my favorite subject on today's report: food! Indeed, it's been a good week for toothsome delights.
Corned beef with cabbage, potatoes, and carrots.
A sub that Dad got.
Chicken empanadas with salsa.
Salad with poppy seed dressing and roasted root vegetables.
My sprightly associate Chester L. W. Spaniel has been very busy chasing and barking at the grackles and squirrels, and reporting their activities. He's quite worn out and resting up right now.
He asked me to post at least a couple pictures of the fauna around here. These are what I picked out:
Dove peeking out of the window feeder.
He was also adamant about showing the sunset with the crescent moon. He said something about the moon phone and his dearest princess and that he hasn't seen the moon in a long time because of those crummy gray clouds!
Now I'd like to take some time to tell you about a certain comic strip that I like. It's called "Red and Rover" by Brian Basset, and it's about a boy and his dog in the late 60's. I think Rover has great taste in food. You can find them on arcamax.com or GoComics.com.
He's a doggie after my own heart!
Now, I do believe a number of yum yum doggie treats are in order …
