Hello friends, fans, and sweethearts everywhere. This is The Daily Bone Valentine's Day edition and we're your winsome doggie reporters Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
Our ghostwriter is working Valentine's Day, so she asked us to write The Daily Bone ourselves. We don't know any of that fancy photoshop decoration card making stuff, because, as you can see, we're doggies. We also didn't get a chance to go shopping for presents, or flowers, or candies, also because, well, we're doggies. But we had to think of something to give to our sweethearts.*
As loyal readers know, my heart belongs to my beautiful and dearest Princess Leah. Sigh! I still can't believe that a famous and elegant genuine princess would like little old me!
We were introduced by Ruby the Airedale Pup and Matchmaker Extraordinaire so we could go to the fabulous Blogville Christmas and Birthday Party for Dory event in 2014, and have been an item even since. Thank you so much Ruby!
Ruby also matched Joey dog up with the lovely Abby lab for the 2015 Blogville Valentine's Day event, but they went their separate ways afterwards.
Joey dog would like to say he still loves and admires Abby and reads her doggie blog every day.
He would also like to send Valentine greetings to beautiful Momo who did him the honor of accompanying him to the Howl-i-daze Blogville event at Christmas time 2015. Perhaps it is not late to ask her to be his Valentine today. We all hope Momo and Pinot and their humans stay warm despite the Arctic cold we're having this weekend around Lake Ontario.
So, getting down to business, we still have to think of a Valentine's Day gift. I had already given Leah the Moon. It's kind of hard to top that. I thought I could try to sing a romantic song like this:
Wooo wooo wooo wooo arooo!
I hate to tell you this but, Chester, your singing is terrible!
I'm not too sure about that song anyway. It's kind of schmaltzy.
How about this one? It has the stars and the moon in it!
That's a good one! But I know another version of it.
BOL! I think that one's about ghostwriter and Dad.
Oh I know the perfect song for Princess Leah, and I'm sure she'll agree.
"All I want is a proper puppicino, made in a proper puppicino pot. I may be off my dot, but I want a puppicino from a puppicino pot. Iron coffee pots and tin coffee pots, they are no use to me! If I can't have a proper puppicino in a puppicino pot, then I'll have a cup of tea!"
OK, we'll quit clowning around now. Here are our official Valentines Day songs for our sweethearts. For Leah from Chester is this:
For Abby and Momo from Joey dog is this:
