Powerful Wind

Hello. I'm your windblown doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel and this is The Daily Bone.

I only have time for a short report, but I can tell you the wind is blowing like crazy! In the last couple weeks we've had lots of windy days. The wind blew all the leaves off the trees.

Now that they're all down, the wind is arranging them into piles and drifts.

You see, this morning we found that almost all the leaves from the silver maple tree were spread evenly on the ground.

Then the wind started and is blowing them all to one side.

Maybe if we wait long enough, Dad won't have to rake any leaves because they'll all be piled up against the fence on the north side of the yard.

Then I can go and jump in them!

Look out squirrels!

  1. that is one thing we don't miss about Fall - the changing colors are pretty - but cleaning up all those leaves - erk. Hey maybe the wind will blow them all into a neighbors garden :)

  2. Every time dad cleans up the leaves more fall - we are ready for them to be all gone

  3. Now that would be a wonderful trick if Mother Nature would cooperate. We love to do our zoomies along the fence. A leaf-lined fence edge would be just pawesome!!

    Happy weekend.

It was so windy it blew the top off of a street-lamp at my aunties house, she had to call the fire dept on account of all the sparking...
