Greetings doggies and kitties and honorable humans. This is The Daily Bone and we're your astounded doggie reporters Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.
We saw an amazing sight this morning! Does anybody know what this is?
Hooray, it's the sun! We haven't seen it in days, and almost forgot what it looks like!
There were lots of jets flying around too.
All day long!
Jets everywhere!
Here's one taking off.
We kind of feel like all these jets are a symbol of defiance against those terrorists in Paris on Friday. We're going to fly our jets all day just to spite them! We had a moment of silence for all those people who were killed.
Then Joey dog and I ran around the yard and enjoyed the wonderful sun all afternoon.
Our long shadows all stretched north.
CREEPY CRAWLY ALERT CREEPY CRAWLY ALERT CREEPY CRAWLY ALERT
It was a great day except for one thing. Ghostwriter found this nasty thing stuck on my side:
Yipes! A huge tick! Fortunately ghostwriter got it off me pretty quick.
I must say, I was a good and patient doggie while she worked this horrid little pest out of my skin in one piece. Its legs were still wiggling! Blah! She checked me and Joey dog all over and didn't find any more. Thank goodness.
No time for sulking now. Our favorite miniature human and his Mom and Dad came over for dinner.
The jets were still flying at sunset.
And then the moon came out!
