Wednesday Updates

This is The Daily Bone and I'm your undercover doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel. I am live and on location in the coneflower jungle because there was a chipmunk in there!

Can you see me?

How about now?

Here I am!

My esteemed colleague Joseph ) Joey dog) Spaniel is feeling a lot better today. Here, he's keeping watch in case that chipmunk makes a run for it across the lawn. Unfortunately the chipmunk escaped through the fence. We'll get him next time!

In other news, our favorite miniature human Ryan, here with his Mom, contemplates adding this school bus to his collection of intergalactic vehicles. Wow! I hope he takes us for a ride sometime!

The moon was out in the middle of the day yesterday.

A tiny fuzzy caterpillar was discovered eating the iris leaves.

The mosquitoes have been especially vicious this season! They zap you as soon as you go outside. Luckily, they don't bother us doggies as much as our humans.

After all the stormy weather passed, we have a refreshing, cool day today. The grackles are done nesting and are practicing flying around in flocks.

Ghostwriter has to go to work again now.

Bye!

  1. We have never been able to catch one of those chippies either - they are very fast. We also heard that those skeeters are going to be very bad this year because of the very wet weather we have had for so long.

Glad to hear that Joey is feeling better. Must be Ghostwriter's good care. And if little Ryan gets that bus, please have him bring you two to our place for some fun zoomies.

  2. We have one at our house also, he often plays just OUTSIDE of Alcatraz so we can never get to him, Dad is worried he got in his car yesterday though and he took him to the gas station and he ran away, yes my parents actually had that conversation last night.....stella rose

  5. Wow you are some lucky guys cause you are able to chase chipmunks. We are only able to chase the feral cats which are living in our barn. Mom told us not to do that, but she don't know how vicious these cats are :)
