A Fine Day

Good evening everyone. I'm your affable doggie correspondent Chester L. W. Spaniel, and this is The Daily Bone.

It was a fine summer day today: sunny and cool with a nice breeze. Ghostwriter and Dad went outside and did lots of  yard work.

Remember my big pile of sticks?

Dad got the horrible noisy fearsome screaming dragon scary stick eater machine out of the garage and woke it up! Yipes! My amiable colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Stephens and I  stayed in the house until it ran out of gas. Now there are no more sticks! But that's OK.

Joey and I spent some time just enjoying the dappled shade of the silver maple tree.

Grazin' in the grass is a gas …

…baby can you dig it?

Since it's flower Friday, here are a few photos from our garden:

Oh, and this just in: our favorite miniature human, Ryan, went for a ride on his intergalactic tricycle! Wow! I wonder how far he got?

And that's it for our report. Good night.

  8. Nice flowers. A stick eating machine is dangerous for doggies and small humans. Best to stay away from it.
