Flower Power

Good evening. This is The Daily Bone and I’m your dignified doggie host Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel. My easily distracted associate Chester L. W. Spaniel is too busy running around the yard to write today.

As you saw in the previous TDB, our ghost writer likes to show pictures of her flowers. While I think that’s her prerogative, since she’s the actual author (I bet you thought it was Chester who was doing all the writing!) of The Daily Bone, I would like to offer a bit of sage advice. The flower pictures look a lot better with doggies in them. I mean, look how much nicer this poppy looks with me in the background!

How about these irises?
I mean, even dirt looks better with me in it!
It does take a certain amount of savior faire to be able to insinuate yourself  into a photograph without calling attention to yourself, and still look good in the shot. As you can see in the picture below, Chester hasn’t developed this talent yet. He isn't paying any attention to the camera!

But I’m not going to instruct him in the finer arts of modeling. That way I get all the yum yums Mom’s got in her pocket!

  3. Pawsome modelling dude and we concur that the addition of a K9 helps enhance any photo of anything. Good luck with 101 modelling class. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  4. Joey knows that if he sits and looks at the camera he will get a yum yum. Chester is so silly. When he sees a camera, he thinks he has to make a speech and starts barking! For every good photo of Chester, there are at least ten or more bad ones that are all blurry!

  5. Hello Joseph,

Those are big flowers? Can you eat them? No? Any sticks around there?

  6. Yes, flower pictures need to have pups in them.

My mom is so jealous of your flower pictures! Thanks for sharing.
