Hello everybody. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your dedicated doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.
It finally seems like Spring here in Western New York. The grass is green and the sound of lawn mowers can be heard far and wide. But it has also been raining a lot. Dad bought himself a brand new gigantic roaring dragon loud humongous scary lawn monster mower machine thing that he could sit on while cutting the grass. Ghostwriter was surprised he didn't sink up to his eyeballs on that heavy thing on the soggy lawn.
After he was done with mowing I went outside to look around, and discovered that we FINALLY have some flowers and growing things!
I also found massive amounts of mud!
Do you see my back foot? All four of my feet and legs and my entire belly were covered in nice fragrant black mud. Of course, as soon as I came back indoors I had to go directly to the bath tub. We had to change the water three times before all the mud washed off! (Don't worry. I like playing in the water in the bath tub, and jump right in.)
Ghostwriter said my feet are like furry mud sponges. Time to call Miss Jacquie the groomer and get my spring buzz cut!
Where are the flowers and beautiful growing things, you ask? I guess we'll have to show you without me in the pictures!

I wasn't allowed outside again until it got dark out. This was so I wouldn't run through the mud again while barking at the Evil Squirrel Cartel and the people and other doggies walking by on the sidewalk. All was not lost, though. I got a delicious yummy super special treat to keep me busy:
a ham bone!
