Greetings friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.
Today is April 27. The trees and the hyacinths are blooming. It's also freezing cold out, with a gelid wind blowing, and snizzle falling from the gray clouds. Yes, snizzle is a word. It means drizzle rain mixed with snow. This cold wet stuff melted as soon as it hit the ground in most places. But we found some accumulation way back in the corner of the yard on the wood pile.
Blah! |
Needless to say, I didn't stay outside for very long. In fact, I decided to do the perfect thing on a day like this:
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz … |
It's cold and snowy here. Abby went into her craft about lunchtime and is still napping.
ReplyDeleteWe sure are having some crazy weather, aren't we Chester. Just think tomorrow the weather peeps say we could actually get an accumulation of snow in some areas. Like you said it's just another day in Western NY.
ReplyDeleteWe have had way too much rain and it's very cool here today but thankfully, no snow. You have the best plan going on there, Chester!
ReplyDeleteBOL, luv dat word snizzle!
ReplyDeleteCrazy pants weather Chester. I think your last photo is a grand idea until the snizzle passes!!
ReplyDeleteLove that word. We often get snizzle here now I have a word to describe it.
Hugs Cecilia
Nailed it, C. That's the only plan you need for that kind of a day!
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,

ReplyDeleteThere is no better place to wait for the sun to come out.
ReplyDeleteWe would have voted to stay inside and snooze too. I hope you get some sunshine this week.
