Today was a classic hot summer day! 90º and muggy.
The sky was filled with big, puffy, white clouds!
And the garden is full of flowers.

Hey, what's this? Snow in July?
Nope. It's just the petals falling off the hawthorn tree blossoms.
The bright sun is making me squint!
I think I'd better go inside where it's nice and cool.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about the upside down suet feeder it does prevent some birds from using it but I'm not sure about the grackles. We don't have any of them around our yard. It does keep the crows from using it.

Its been muggy and way too hot around these parts, too. We sure are glad the AC got fixed just in time.phew!

We do a lot of 'lollygagging' around o these hot days too. Even the peeps decided the AC and a TV was a better option to see the fireworks, BOL! They did go to the air show for a wee bit...and saw the F22! Earplugs, please...
