Flower Friday

Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

As spring progresses, we're now seeing different kinds of flowers.

I was wearing a flower today after rooting around in the garden looking for mousies and chipmunks. It's a forget-me-not!

In other news, ghostwriter saw three baby robins hopping around in the bushes on the side of the house. She reports that all three were flying very well. This one was kind enough to stay still for a few moments so we could get a picture before it flew away.

Now I have some sad news to report. Our dear Oma is in the hospital again after falling down in her house. Ghostwriter and her brother and sister are thinking maybe Oma shouldn't be living alone anymore, because now she's having trouble standing and walking. We want our fellow bloggers to know that we might get a bit behind on reading and commenting, and writing until we get Oma settled somewhere.

  9. Oh no, not another fall?! I hope Oma will be fine, but it might perhaps be the best option if she were not to live alone anymore. I believe Oma was German, so here goes: Gute Besserung Oma und gut auf die Ärzte hören um so schnell wie möglich wieder nach Hause zu dürfen!

  14. Your flowers are incredibly beautiful. I am so sorry to read about your Oma. It is never easy to make the difficult decision about when it is time to no longer live alone. My mom just turned 87 and lives with my brother in N.Y.C. He often worries about her falling too. I'm sending prayers your way. ♥
