Police Training And Superhero Sightings

Hello super fans! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your excited doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

I'm honored to have been chosen to serve on the Pawlice Force for our new Blogville Mayor, Arty. Here are a few pictures of me going through the paces:

Learning to drive the squad car.

Agility training.

Weapons training.

Please visit Stanley and Murphy here to see more details. As long-time readers will know, I've been part of the Double Doggie Homeland Security System for eight years. I specialize at barking at the mail truck …

… zooming after the Evil Squirrel Cartel …

… sniffing out the Conniving Chipmunk Consortium, the Secretive Bunny Militia, and the Miscellaneous Mousie Mob in every kind of weather.

Here's a shrew I caught once.

I caught a big bully grackle once too.

You  may recall I have a contract with Sparrows Incorporated to keep grackles, and squirrels away from the birdie feeders so the smaller birdies will be able to eat the seeds.

Indeed, I have a long list of accomplishments in tracking and capturing miscreants, and protecting our property from alien invasion. Serving in the Blogville Pawlice Department will enable me to use my natural hunting and guarding abilities for the greater good. I'm looking forward to graduation on December 5!

While I was away at the Pawlice Academy Training Facility, Ghostwriter happened to see my favorite super hero, Ironing Board Man! I was very surprised because construction season is just about over now. It looks like he was having a family reunion in this picture.

A little way down the road, she saw Grampa Ironing Board Man working at a building site.

I don't usually do movie reviews, but we watched Zootopia yesterday on Netflix. It was the perfect thing to put me in the mood for my new job!

  15. I like felines (and canines) that know how to catch mice and birds and other creepies that should not be in the garden! Good luck in the new job.

  16. Dear Chester,

You do indeed do a fabulous job keeping your Yard protected! Ojo takes care of our yard (and the squirrels and ratties), and I take care of the house (no strangers can get past me!).

My people watched Zootopia the other night too and also loved it! But there were no Dogs in it, and just a few wolves, so I went to sleep.

    Good luck with your snow!

    Licks,
    Cobi
