A Bunny! And a Chipmunk Too!

This is The Daily Bone, Princess Edition, fast breaking news flash. We're your intrepid doggie reporters Baby and Rosie Spaniel.

We have just been informed that there's a bunny in our back yard! And a chipmunk too!

We haven't seen a bunny, or a chipmunk either, here in several weeks!

They were eating seeds the birdies dropped from the feeder above. We wanted to race outside right away, but we waited until the bunny ate it's fill.

The bunny proceeded to hide by the side of the fence. Do you see it? We doggies gave it a good chase after that!

We then did some follow-up sniffing. We now return you to your regularly scheduled sunset already in progress.

  1. GOOD EYE GIRLS!!! That marauding-trespassing bunny and chipmunk duo have no idea who they dealing with when you two are on patrol -- I'm sure they 'll pass it onto their friends!! And by the way, you both are growing up way, way too fast!!! ❤❤

  2. This year, we are seeing more bunnies than chippers. They eat lots of clover in our lawn. The sunset is beautiful and we can see that the Canada smoke made it your way.

  3. You two sure have your eyes on the yard. We like to chase the bunnies and chipmunks in our yard too. That smoke is giving us colorful sunsets again.

  4. A bunny AND a chippy??? Lucky you! Mama says she can send you some of our bunnies, we have so many she had to put frosted window covers over both the back sliding doors to keep us from barking!

Enjoy your beautiful sunset and we hope the smoke isn't too bad where you are.
    xoxo,

  5. Hi Baby and Rosy! Mom remembers Chester. Didn't he and our Angel Sister Lexi know each other? We can't believe we haven't been to your blog before this...we've been cavorting way too much with the cats in blogsville. Uh, which of you is who?
Oh, and we know about letting the bunnies eat more to get fatter and slower, BOL! But the chippies are fair game anytime. Your new friends, Lucy, Chia, Riley and Xena Schnauzer Warrior Princess
