Greetings everyone! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
We have some real summer weather here in WNY complete with heat, humidity, and passing cloudbursts. Thank goodness for air conditioning! We still have some wonderful flowers.
The skies have been spectacular too.
And the angry crazy red cardinal is still dive bombing his reflection in our dining room window!
Damn the torpedoes! |
What beautiful flowers you have this week Chester...and your skies are amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour birdies are a bit silly tho! BOL!
xoxo,
Arty and the Gang
Your flowers are just stunning! What a nutty cardinal☺
ReplyDeleteThe blast furnace sure has been blowing hard around here this week. You sure have lots of pretty flowers around your yard. We couldn't survive without our AC.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular flowers is right!!! And that silly cardinal. We had one crash into our windows this week and sadly he didn't make it:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Thank you for showing those lovely flowers. It brightened our day. Who is the diving Cardinal? Larry Fitzgerald.
ReplyDeleteMore like Admiral David Farragut at the battle of Mobile. But I will ask my friend Miss Winnefred Seedcruncher from Sparrows Inc.if she knows his real name.
DeleteYou sure do have some gorgeous flowers! And the skies are wonderful, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a crazy Cardinal!
Its hot and humid here, too, but we only have had minimal rain. Grass is getting all brown.
Chester and GW thank you so very much for braving the horrid heat to collect these gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteWe once had a Nuthatch pecking at our window like a crazy bird. We were told it means they are looking for a mate. Not sure if that is true but one thing for sure he destroyed what every brains cells he had.
Hugs Cecilia
Good nature report, C. That cardinal is likely not the sharpest tool in the shed. Also we love your side swept bangs. Very trendy.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
A stripey sky? I have seen it all now!
ReplyDeleteHad my first strawberries yesterday: gorgeous! The new radishes will soon be ready too, but the tomatoes take a bit longer, they are still only small plants!

Dang dude, that is one ditzy Cardinal! Burd brain comes to mind! BOL!!!! We had some burdies that were doin' that on our front porch a few years back ~ burdies are kerazy! Sorry abouts the heat and, DAMN! I don't knows how you guys take the humidity!!! It was 70% this weekend, and I thought I was gonna DIE! sigh. Thankfully, I thinks it's goin' away soon. It will be replaced with 100 degree heat, butts at least it's a dry heat 😅
ReplyDeleteI loves your blooms ~ Ma's fav is the pink one...so purty! I likes the Iris'!
Thanks for the tour of your yardie, and keeps an eye on those kerazy burdies, k?
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
