No Flowers This Friday

Hello friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your cheerful doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.

I am sorry to say that we have absolutely no flowers today. But look what we got instead! Snow!

Hooray!

The snow plow went by this morning too, but all he did was drop a little salt on the roads.

It's been windy and super sunny, but still cold enough that the snow didn't melt.

Ghostwriter was not very happy about it. She had to clean snow and ice off her car this morning so she could go to physical therapy. (Dad is out of town today—or else she would have had him do this—but he'll be back tonight.) But she survived. She even survived a whole bunch of new exercises and stretches for her new knee!

Anyway, so instead of flowers, we're going to show you some pretty pictures of the snow.

I wonder if the snow will still be here tomorrow?

I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

  1. We love the snow. I guess that is because we don't get it very often in the Portland area. For now, we will enjoy your beautiful pictures. Stay cozy and warm, Chester!

  3. You got more snow than we did here. Ours is still there where the sunbeams coudln't reach it. But OMD, its SO cold! It was only 17F, (We tied a record!), here this morning, and more of the same tonight or colder even...Brrr! Good thing we are blessed with a good furnace and cozy nests to rest in.

Good job of your GW going solo to PT.

  6. We love seeing the snow. Flowers are nice and pretty to look at, but snow is so much more fun - run, jump, slide!!! Geez, wish we had some snow.

  10. Hi Chester, can you believe that none of us 4 legs have seen snow. Mommy says the boys were in elementary school the last time it snowed here. They are all grown up now.

  13. You did find some pretty leaves to show with the snow. We had fun doing snow zoomies yesterday but our pawrents didn't like the wind chill yesterday. The snow is still here at our house this morning but we don't think it will survive the weekend.

  16. We had a tiny bit of snow on Friday, but then it started raining (again) and it was gone in an instant. I think this means it's going to be winter soon.
