Dummy Fly

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I’m your savvy doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

Ghostwriter was looking out the window this afternoon and thought her eyes were playing tricks on her. She saw a little black spot in the snow, and it was moving!

So we all went out to investigate. Here is what we found:

This fly obviously didn’t get the memo about the fact that we still have heavy snow cover and freezing temperatures.

  1. You should see the chaos I caused today because a fly came in the house! Think the peeps have just ordered a new fly screen!
Do you think the fly believed the weatherman that said you were getting warmer weather?

  2. We had lots of flying insects here this week, but we don't have any snow, just lots of sunshine and temps in the 60s. Maybe that bug needs a GPS to help him find his way to warmer locales.

  5. The flies are waking up around here, too, but I only saw them on windowpanes and the warm bare concrete on the sidewalk.
Soon there will be some inside so I and my kitty brofurs can snap at them...tasty wee lil snacks!
